My first guess is that most people that buy this will be drawn in by the song "Beat the boys". While I have no clue on its popularity "over the pond" in europe, here in the US I heard about them through a game called flatout. From there, I investigated a little more, and tried to find a few sample music files as there was no way to buy it anywhere. Once I found about 4 subpar mp3's from "devil is a girl", I fell in love with the tone and unique melody to the band that seperates them from any other band that I've heard. Its really hard to describe. It has a kind of melody that seems to build suspense and intrigue... almost gothic in ways, poppy in other respects. Well, I did my best trying to describe it in words. Otherwise, I hadn't heard any of the music from the 2nd disc, "when heaven ends", but I was not disappointed. Its more of the same that I had fallen for.

Well worth the money, I hope this band becomes more popular so they can still release more albums.

The 1st reviewer couldn't be more correct, and has pretty much already said what I would of. I live over in Australia and played the game Flatout. Thanks to the company trying to save on money and looking for undiscovered talent for the music they came across LAB and used their song Beat The Boys as the games intro theme and I was instantly hooked on LAB and had to hear more.

"I fell in love with the tone and unique melody to the band that seperates them from any other band that I've heard. Its really hard to describe. Taken from the first reviewers attempt to describe this CD complication, and they really hit the nail on the head.

This two CD compilation of LAB's works so far is amazing value for money, and really worth every cent. It would be foolish to pass up. LAB is one of my very favourite bands right up the top there with Zeromancer so I can recommend getting this enough, you wont regret it as both CDs are magic!
