The first time I heard this beautiful song was on the seventh season of 'Smallville', the TV series based on the origins of Superman, and it has stuck with me ever since. I wasn't sure who sang it, then I heard it on the radio yesterday and when Missy's name was mentioned, I simply had to buy it. There are few songs that stand out as much as this one does. It is both haunting and deeply moving, through the lyrics and its harmonics. I've listened to it numerous times already and I could listen to it every day without tiring of it, it's that good. A deeply personal quality exists within the song, something that speaks to the soul of the very talented Missy Higgins, and that resonates within me. I'm in tune with its emotional cadence, which elevates it to a profound height of musical significance. Missy is a genuine, natural talent and for that gift she possesses, especially in this song, I feel compelled to recommend this song to other music fans.
