4.0 out of 5 stars A Finely Written, Touching Gay Coming of Age Story, June 11, 2010
This review is from: Where I am Now (Kindle Edition)
Inclan's Where I am Now is a beautiful and touching tribute to the strength of character required for a young man to "come out" to himself, to his family, to his friends. It is a novel about risk, the risks of loving, the risks of being honest with oneself and others, and the risks of going against society's norms and expectations. Steve and Gareth are believable and engaging young men and their conflicts and passion are deftly and sensitively explored.

Where I am Now [Kindle Edition]

Where I Am Now,Is a very touching heartfelt novel.

I loved it from start to finish.A Winner....

The love between,Rick(Enrique),and Steve is so heartfelt and real.

I can relate to the main protagonist,Rick(Enrique to his family), because we're a lot alike in many ways. This book really moved me because it's about a young man, coming out to his family, friends and himself, and finding love with his best friend along the way....

This story explores the themes of love, risk, and the courage to be yourself. I like the fact that the characters are very real, down to earth and believable.Mostly it reminds us all that life and love are all about taking chances. To quote: Barry J. Farber - There's no reward in life without risk!!!

Steve - (Gareth)---(In the amazon Kindle version his name is Gareth,I guess)

In the version I read his name was Steve.

An unforgettable book, and one not to be missed from this awesome writer...
