Somber, interesting and worthwhile,
By Dan L. Manes "Happy, clappy music person" (United States; Cleveland , Ohio) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Where the Killers Run (Audio CD)
I stumbled into this record simply based off of the cover (which many a times can be a bad choice)and the fact i thought it looked interesting. Upon playing the music i came to find it was a nice blend of Sixteen Horsepower and perhaps a more mellow Cracker? There is fantastic use of the violin throughout the entire record and really serves the mood of the album which leans certainly on the darker side of things. It grows on you with listens, as the first few times i wasn't certain. After listening 5 times all the way through , i've come to find it's a solid album worth the time to give it repeated spins.
