Nobody sings a gospel song better than American Icon, Loretta Lynn. The tracks included on this CD are many traditional hymns as well as some that are the result of Loretta's well known and awarded originals like "Everybody Wants to Go To Heaven" and "I'd Rather Have Jesus."
Loretta recorded four Christian Lps & CD, aka gospel, even though many artists were concerned about associating religion with their artistry. But Loretta has always made it perfectly clear that she comes from a religious family and still feels the same connection today. In fact even today she includes a medley of her favorite gospel songs in her stage show. If you want to hear some good ole traditional Christian songs as well as some that have a more country feel, then add these tracks to your collection. |
