As a working cowboy I have lost faith in the current county music. It like many other things have changed to suit the more urban environment, leaving the modern day working cowboy behind. After hearing songs like "The Shake" and "Achey Breaky Hart" I just want to turn the radio off. I am glad to see that there are still people like Craig Chambers that sing the traditional and contemporary western music. Graig's songs come alive with his smooth voice. The first time I heard this CD I was working on a ranch in centrial California and after hearing it just one time I had to have my own copy. I know anyone who buys this CD will not be dissapointed. The title of the CD says it all "Where the Pavement Ends" is really where the West begins. This CD is one of my favorite in a large collection of western music. I highly recomend it to every one who truely enjoys western music.
