2.0 out of 5 stars Amorphous
This is one woman's journal of her trips to Egypt. It was written from a highly subjective angle ('I this', 'I that') and has lots of emotion which does tend to distract from and overshadow the content of Egypt.

I was expecting an interesting heart-centered tale like this Initiation or perhaps having a masterful command of mystical culture like this...

Patricia Cori is a great storyteller.. From the moment of Patricia's regression of seeing herself sealed in a tomb and left to die,we embark on an adventure of suspense ,not fully knowing where she is taking us..You are there with her while she follows synchronicities and communicates with the great guardians of the sacred sites in the ancient land of Egypt. With courageous leaps of faith into the unknown, Patricia uncovers the mystery of her own past life. It is a must read book! Patricia is the real-life Indiana Jones!!And I hope there is a film to come....
Let Where Pharoahs Dwell serve as a trigger to reawaken the memories that are deep within so we can remember who we are and why we are here.

5.0 out of 5 stars If Indiana Jones was a metaphysician....., December 1, 2009

This review is from: Where Pharaohs Dwell: One Mystic's Journey Through the Gates of Immortality (Paperback)
I'm going to be completely honest. Being a big fan of Patricia's work, I was a bit skeptical if I'd like this book as much as her other books. I know next to nothing about Egypt and it has never really interested me too much. But knowing that I love everything else Patricia has done, I gave it a chance. So with an open mind I began reading the book only to realize that I couldn't put it down. You feel like you are right there with Patricia through the whole journey. She presents the story with honesty, humility and without watering down her metaphysical experiences.

This books is very different than her other work she does with the Sirian Speakers. This is a personal story of discovery and initiations, which makes you feel like you are experiencing these initiations and revelations for yourself. It is presented in such a clear manner and takes you step by step of her learning experience that you really don't have to know anything about Egypt to read it. Based on past life-regressions and her channeling work with the Sirian Speakers, she eventually finds validation of the information she received within herself in the outside world, in Egypt. Patricia takes you to the remote, secret & forbidden places of Egypt on her search. I really want to leave a review without spoiling the book, so I'm going to talk about what happens in the book further than that. You definitely have to read it, even if you are a bit reluctant or know nothing about Egypt, like me. This book holds a special place in my heart and I'm sure it will for you. This book would make an excellent movie. It reminds me of a mix of the adventures of Indiana Jones with the discoveries and questioning along the line of Erich von Däniken but with a mystical and metaphysical experience.

Patricia Cori is a Master! I have never been so moved to visit the sacred sites as I was after reading her book "Where Pharoah's Dwell". Her words are truth, spoken directly from the Sirian High Council. Her connection to other realms is palpable. Her experiences so mirror mine that I had to meet her.... and I can say that experiencing her sacred journey to Egypt was beyond the wildest spiritual experience anyone could imagine! Her warrior spirit pulls in power from the cosmos as she reads energy and initiates those who are willing to do the work of the light. Patricia, BRAVO! I love it that you tell it like it is, without fear and without question. My guides knew we would meet, love each other as sisters, and support each other in the work we are here to do on the planet. I highly recommend this book for anyone seeking to understand the beginnings of civilization and Egypt as a portal to the cosmos. This book will take you on the journey of a lifetime into the realm of higher consciousness and understanding. It's fun and emotional... you'll love it!

I have just finished reading Patricia Cori's
most amazing book.
I was filled with so much emotion and tears
in reading this incredible journey to sacred places.
In 1984, I made a trip to Egypt as a "tourist", and I
relived many things as I read the story.
I was filled with a wonderment as I read this book,
of what was all about me that I did not see or feel.
Thank you so much Patricia!

I first "discovered" Patricia on a radio program a few months ago. I was taken by her knowledge of subject(s), Egypt, crystal skulls, reincarnation and, of course, her position as a channel for our Sirian brothers and sisters. Her sincerity shown through as I listened to her that day. I knew then that I had to immerse myself in her story. I immediately ordered "Pharaohs", read it in two days and subsequently ordered the Sirian Revelations trilogy. I have not been disappointed. Anyone who read "Pharaohs" carefully I'm quite sure noticed that Patricia did not/could not share everything regarding her personal experiences during her numerous trips to Egypt. And that's understandable. One has to use one's own imagination to appreciate the true beauty and richness of her connection to and time in Egypt. What we're dealing with here is one of the truly knowledgeable Egyptologists. If you're as fed up with the traditional explanations of the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx, Abydos, etc., etc. as I am and deep down inside you know that Egypt holds the key to many mysteries that need to be brought into the light NOW, then "Where Pharaohs Dwell" should be at the top of your reading list. Patricia truly has given us all a wake-up call.

5.0 out of 5 stars "Where Pharaohs Dwell" Review, August 31, 2010
This review is from: Where Pharaohs Dwell: One Mystic's Journey Through the Gates of Immortality (Paperback)

Last night, I finished reading "Where Pharaohs Dwell." This is an
outstanding work, both from an auto-biographical experience and a
spiritual, metaphysical guide book. From her travels through the
pyramids, she shows very practical lessons in applying her occult
training. For those who may never see Egypt in this lifetime; her
lessons on dealing with everything fearful, from spirits to difficult
people and harsh environments, give excellent, useful examples of living
in the light.

Her book is filled with exciting experiences. The color pictures
really authenticate the many activities documented. After reading
various chapters, I searched my own book collection for copies of
ancient Egypt. Fortunately, I found two books with additional pictures
to add to the vision.

She truly is a contemporary Indiana Jones, and a very brave individual.
I look forward to more reading and study of her information and
practices. The day after "WPD" arrived, "Atlantis Rising" arrived at
the house. Since I had already begun reading the former book, I thought
it best to finish "WPD"
before beginning the latter.

I consider myself a student of metaphysics and all of this information
and application is "golden." Looking forward to much more of her guidance
and information in the future. This is a very fulfilling book for anyone interested in Egypt, metaphysics, and Egyptology.

I bought this book to prepare for my trip to Egypt and plan to bring it along for review before I go into the temples. This is an excellent book that I really enjoyed. To come face to face with the mummy of yourself from a past life must be a jolting experience. This book revealed an amazing experience in the Land of the Pharaohs and I hope to be transformed by my trip also.

If you're looking for a mindblowing story and that's also about real life: This is it!

I've never read a spiritual thriller, but I guess this book is the beginning of a new genre.

Would love to see it made into a film.

5.0 out of 5 stars Blazing a trail of Light, December 30, 2009
This review is from: Where Pharaohs Dwell: One Mystic's Journey Through the Gates of Immortality (Paperback)
As we continue to enter into more and more Light, we are ending a cycle which began on August 13, 3113 B.C. With this 5,125 year wave harmonic completion many are awakening to the nudge, "Wake up, it's time to play." We are becoming aware of our becoming aware. With this collective "becoming", many are coming to a deeper level of healing. A genetic imprinting leading to a more expansive level of Light.
Upon completing Patricia's remarkable book, I realized that her experiences have assisted me in clearing ancient woundings on many levels, and will for all who will be drawn to this amazing testament. It is as if Patricia is blazing a trail of brilliant Light for us all to follow. For us all to follow to join in the Cosmic Party!

I share my thoughts with you all in the sacred honor of our Beloved Hakim!

In Light and Love to All,
Lynetta Skrtic

5.0 out of 5 stars Patricia "Jones" and the Temple of Doom, September 14, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Where Pharaohs Dwell: One Mystic's Journey Through the Gates of Immortality (Paperback)
Patricia Cori is kind of a female Indiana Jones an audacious person who enjoys travelling to the world's sacred, and secrets sites looking for those adventures which might force her and her group to grow into higher levels of understanding.

While in Boston and under hypnosis by a psychic she had visions of a life in ancient Egypt where she was, due to a resentful relative's machinations, buried alive and that the trauma and the horror of it all is still, after some many centuries, lurking in her subconscious mind so to trying healing it she ends up in Egypt again.

The trauma had to be faced and healed by somehow reenacting the horror. On her many trips to Egypt some by herself, other times with a group, she tries to prove that:

1. Ancient Egyptian pharaohs are still around in their astral body and that those Egyptians gods were not mythical but real people who still lurk in the astral around pyramids, temples and monuments, for instance one night she spent five hours locked up inside a haunted temple called Abydos where she is able to interact with six "dead" ancient Egyptian priests.

2. To face the circumstances of her traumatic death she went down a 33 meters deep shaft climbing down and old metal vertical ladder and back. Because of those self-inflicted experiences in Egypt she feels she is totally healed of her fear of a difficult death and of closed spaces.

I recommend this book to those who love both physical and emotional adventures leading to progressive levels of the mind and of the soul.
