First Listened To This Album On The Radio, December 23, 2011

I heard this album in its entirety on WTLC-FM Radio in Indianapolis on a Monday night, back when the Urban station played entire albums of soul singers. I was impressed with every track on the album, especially the last four. I ended up getting the edited version of "Cruisin'" along with its b-side, "Ever Have A Dream", at Kroger (another wacky place to buy records!). I'm proud to have finally gotten the entire album on iTunes, having remembered the thrill of having listened to it on the radio. Thanks for the memories, Smokey! BTW, I'll be interested in hearing Huey Lewis and Gwyneth Paltrow do their version of "Ever Have A Dream", now that they managed to pull off their successful remake of "Cruisin'".
