I've received three degrees, most since I discovered Dr. Olney's fantastic system. Not so much a how to study, but more a how to play the game of college. Prior to reviewing Dr. Olney's tapes I received good grades - A's and B's. Afterwards, I received all A's and one B+. Listen to this man, he'll save you countless hours of frustration and allow you to get better grades with less work.

I have two sons--both watched this tape and both picked up really good tips and habits. They graduated from High School with 4.5 GPA's and completed University--with the help of this video.

Dr. Olney's tape wastes a bit of time by including too many motivational testimonials. Once he gets down to business, the material is excellent. His discussin academic gamesmanship (getting better grades than you deserve) is excellent. His discussion of how to change your lifestyle to improve your grades is also excellent. He teaches many very useful study skills, but places too little emphasis on the best of them. A student should pay very careful attention to these study tricks; most of them work very well.

Where There's a Will... is a videotape of a 1980's lecture that Dr. Olney gave to students at Arizona State University. Working as faculty in the business department, Mr. Olney spoke to students about improving college grades and how to contrast college to a business to improve your overall experience.

Claude gives 20 tips that any college student can use to dramatically improve thier grades. He shows college students how they can improve thier grades by treating college as a business. Included with the videotape is a workbook to help 'solidify' the concepts presented in the video.

What is not to like about this video? It presents techniques that are simple to use and understand. Dr. Olney gives the techniques with background on the logic behind them. Unlike most professors, Claude presents everything here in a freindly atmosphere without 'collegic jargon'.

If you are stuggling in college, a honors student needing an 'edge' against the competition, or a high-school senior preparing to enter college; Dr. Olney will help you gain an 'edge' over most college students and broaden your understanding of college. Highly recommended!

I watched this video in the 8th grade (I am 34 now) and it changed my life. People tell me all the time that I get more done in one day than they get done in a week. it is because of strategies from this video. I am about to graduate with my doctorate while having 3 kids and a part time job. I couldn't have done it without the ideas from this material!

This tape really helped me, and has helped many of my friends and their children. It is full of simple tasks, that if mastered, make college easier and less stressful. Yes it is very basic but it works. I made A's after watching this video, before I did not. My set of tapes is 20 years old. I have saved them because I owe my lifestyle and Doctorate degree to Dr. Olney. Get this for your kids and watch them excel. Best 50 dollars you will ever spend.

It totally changed my study habits, my understanding of how college grading works, and, most importantly, my attitude.

The tapes are definately helpful if you don't know the basics of studying and notetaking. However, the stress is on mindset and being alert and quick to review while your mind is still fresh. I found the tape full of information that could be benificial at a high school level, but applying it on a college pre-medical curriculum did not work because some courses are about working hard and smart, not just smart as the tape teaches you how to do.

I watched these tapes as part of a college class I took as a freshman. It was part of the curriculum and I can still remember sitting in the library at the video machine taking notes feverishly and going through the study guide that went with it as the light went on inside my head.

Throughout my college career and for years afterwards I have continued to use the tips in this incredible set of tapes with great success! I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Business School and I attribute much of that to the study tips I picked up in this great product!

Not only does this guide teach you how to study and take notes, but it also has incredible tips for "schmoozing" with your college professors to set up great working relationships with them to help you get on their good side. Now, I'm sure that may sound cheesy to some....but I have to tell you--IT WORKED! Every single time! I can still remember with great clarity the example of a students wife baking the professor a pie and the effect that it had on his relationship with the teacher.

I still use the tips of smaller paragraphs that are more to the point even when I write emails today! The stuff in this thing is that powerful and if used correctly will not only help students succeed in college, but succeed in their business and personal pursuits for years after.

I remember acing my reports I'd have to write in college because I used the tips I learned from this great guide. I plan on sharing it with my own children when they reach college age. I highly recommend it!

Gives a lot of practical and helpful information on not only getting good grades, but also on life in general. It was a life changer for me.
