Awesome Study Guide,
This review is from: Where There's a Will There's an A: How to Get Better Grades in High School (VHS Tape)
I received a 2.8 in college on my first four years. After watching this tape, I turned my grades around. I loved watching these, and I give my students extra credit for watching it too. Some parts are a little boring for kids, but overall, it's an excellent helper. It really helped me.

FROM HIGH SCHOOL RESOURCE ROOM TO MEDICAL DOCTOR,
This review is from: Where There's a Will There's an A: How to Get Better Grades in High School (VHS Tape)
These tapes turned around my life! I went from ranking 315 out of 365 in high school to getting an MD degree. Currently I am an Emergency Room Attending Physician and credit my success to this professor and his tapes!

Does Good News Have to be Exciting?,

This review is from: Where There's a Will There's an A: How to Get Better Grades in High School (VHS Tape)
I retired from being a teacher of some 33 plus years in 2002, and for several years before that, I used this tape with some of my 9th grade classes. It was my failure of an effort towards teaching them better study skills. The dearth of study-capability my inner-city classes had begged attention, and one of my students' parents gave me this tape after I presented the problem at a Parent's Night.
I am sad to report the best part of this tape was the cover of the container. The college professor who presented the ideas to help students enhance their study skills, although a fine gentleman I am sure, had not perfected the capability himself of keeping adolescent students glued to the information he was giving. After my end-of-the-year critique gave me too many regrets for that activity, I broke it up into multiple small doses, and still always got boos and ughs when I set the tape up! It was a shame, since the information therein truly was valuable and insightful. I now recommend OTHER materials to parents who ask me how they can help improve their child's study habits!
