a good picture book, not what I expected mind you
The photography in this book is first rate. Do not expect lavish colours as such. The whole design and layout of the book reminds me of the old 80's movie books and the photos are good but not as dreamy as many of the images we have seen in the trailer. This book at the moment provides a snap-shot as to how the film must look and the narrative is well written. A good buy...

Just get the original version
I would suggest just buying this in the original version, I was actually redirected here from a Where The Wild Things Are coloring book and I ended up with this, if I was going to end up with the story book I would have rather just got the original version, much better.

Our entire family loved the book and the movie. The WILD THINGS Story book photo were very vivid. Saving for grandchildren.

I bought this book as a Christmas gift and was pleased with the product. The only reason it got 4 stars and not 5 is because some of the pictures in this book (since they were movie clips) were slightly blurry and not of great quality.
