5.0 out of 5 stars Cool water and shade next to scorching black top, vivid!, June 29, 1998

This review is from: Where the Wind Lives: Poems from the Great Basin (Paperback)
Linda Hussa poems put you in the center of a lifestyle where all emotions can hang like a dew drop, glistening yet precarious. Where The Wind Lives tells a spiritual native perspective of what living in the Great Basin is, as does John Noble's Rye. I have shared these writings with many of my dear friends that for generation now live in a completely metropolitan world. This book of poems, for me, represents a classic much like "To Kill A Mockingbird" or a Georgia O'Keefe painting. Cheers, for publishing a brilliant edition from this prolific western author.
