A mellow, folksy, edgy feeling.... which I know is a strange description/combination, but it works so well. The more I listen to this song the more I love it. I've added it to my favorites list and I don't see it moving from that list anytime soon. I need to get more from this amazing musician.

I either listen to or play music almost every waking moment. I rarely hear a song that I like immediately but I did like this one right away. However just like the innumerable arguments for and against evolution and intelligent design I have to challenge myself and ask if I would immediately like this song if it was billed as "a new song by _______________ insert anyone's name besides Macca's guitarist." Oh, and listen to 3:43 three or four times and let me know where 'THAT' little vocal lick came from...

Rusty Anderson seems happy to share with us his musical influences. Born On Earth is a fine mixture of superb songwriting, guitar playing and power pop. Get this CD while you can!
