5.0 out of 5 stars she can find me here!!!!!!!!!!!
What a great recording! Kristin really swings (on bass) AND sings on this CD. Great arrangements, slick tunes. Drummer Jeff Hamilton and pianist Mike Wofford really compliment her style. She one of the brightest stars on the jazz scene today and this recording is a testament as to the reason why. Check out this recording!

I heard Kristin Korb in a trio with her brother on drums and Gerald Clayton on piano and was blown away. I immediately bought the CD and have recommended it to several friends already. Kristin's bass interpretation and vocals are solid and energetic; anyone who can hold her own with the likes of Jeff Hamilton and Mike Wofford definitely deserves attention. The standards do not disappoint, and her original tunes are innovative and fun (especially the title track). She obviously loves what she does, and you can tell throughout this CD, which is a great addition to any jazz collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yet Another Amazing Album!, November 27, 2001
This review is from: Where You'll Find Me (Audio CD)
I saw Kristin this last weekend and she was amazing. My friend got me this great CD from her for my birthday. (Signed, of course!) Kristin Korb shows off her own personal flair this time around, with a few of her own compositions and all-original arrangements of some great standards. Her bass work on "The Man I Love" is really fun. The first song, How About You, has to be my personal favorite, with a lot of swingin' piano work by Mike Wofford. I also really liked the last ballad, Darn That Dream. It nearly brought me to tears with its heartfelt sincerity. If you love Ray Brown and/or Ella Fitzgerald, this would be an excellent and classy addition to your collection.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simply Outstanding! Jazz connoisseurs will love this, December 15, 2006

I purchased this CD about 2 years ago. I heard the track "They say it's spring" on the NPR program "Jazz After Hours". I bought the cd soon afterwards. I was pleasantly surprised by some of her other songs. All of these tunes are excellent. My personal favorites are "They say its spring" - a slow, introspective ballad; "How about you" - a classy, upbeat tune. "East of the Sun" is very romantic and smooth.

If you like modern Jazz, you simply will not be disappointed. It is a 'must have' for anyone's Jazz library, pure and simple.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sassy and Swinging Bassist, December 6, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Where You'll Find Me (Audio CD)
Sassy and swinging bassist and vocalist has just released her second recording. This is one you must have. Kristin is among the very few jazz artists that can play and sing at the same time.(how does one do it?) And her trio is magnificent. Drummer Jeff Hamilton and former Ella Fitzgerald pianist Mike Wofford round out this dynamite trio. The song selection is superb and the whole recording just glows. This young woman, who is the new director of Jazz Studies at Eastern Washington University, is a definate star on the rise. Great tunes, beautiful arrangements, and a fine project all around. Congratulations Ms. Korb.
