My two babies, four years apart and very different, both absolutely loved this book. It has lived in our diaper bag for a long time and is worn and dog-eared, but much loved. I am so glad it is still available for babies!

The flaps on each page are a delight to my 15 month old. She laughs out loud each time a baby appears. What a great book; its simplicity is its charm.

It is hard to tell from the description, but the book is the size of CD, and is really thin (not that thick carton they usually use for infant books) and fragile. In addition, the pictures look really outdated: furniture, wallpaper, objects, compositions are clearly late 80-th.

I am giving it 4 stars because we found a use for it and the rest of the books in the series (carrying in the diaper bag) and because my son does like it a lot. However, this book is terribly overpriced for its value, and i probably wouldn't gotten if I had a chance to see it in person. This, and 'Where is the kitten?' are his favorite books in the series.

This book combines pictures of babies, always a favorite for little ones, and flaps for them to peek under! My 13 month old daughter loves this book! I wish it had a few more pages but I still recommend it!

This simple lift-the-flap book is very exciting for young babies. My 7-month-old loves the anticipation of lifting each flap, and the repetition of "where's the baby? ...there's the baby!" This is the book that taught her how to lift flaps. The pictures are pretty dated, but that doesn't bother her.

This is a lovely little book. My 1.5 year old daughter has enjoyed it for many months now. My only criticism is that the flaps are not cardboard but a heavy paper (card stock) and she has trouble getting the edges to lift up. So I usually have to help her, even though she has good fine motor skills. But it's great book, I plan to give it as a gift.

This was my children's favorite book when they were babies. You might get tired of the
"surprise" under the flap, but babies and toddlers never do, believe me!

perfect book for my little English and French Creole friends. You don't have to understand French Creole to enjoy the fun little pictures, and my nephews love the suspense of finding baby!

Super cute book but better for an older baby who wouldn't be tempted to rip the pages. I know it will be helpful in teaching our child spanish.

My 9 month old LOVES this book. She gets so excited when we turn the flap to reveal the baby. She has been interested in it from about 6 months but has really been enjoying it for the last 2.
