I have just finished the first book in this set and loved it! I found almost everything on the checklist, but for the life of me, I am having trouble with 2 things! Someone, please help me if you know the answer! In the first book, on the beach scene, I cannot find the "five spiders" on the checklist!!! I am beginning to wonder if it is a mistake because I have searched and searched and searched! The second thing I am stumped about is who the recurring extra character in each scene is. Help me out!! I wish this series had an answer key (promise I won't cheat!). I like the humor presented in some of the illustrations. Finding that "overdressed person" on the beach scene made me laugh. I'm hoping for more Waldo books once I'm finished with the whole set! Fyi, I am over 25 years of age..hehehehe.

Yes I AGREE!!! In the first book Where's Waldo the "On the Beach" Scene DOES NOT and I repeat DOES NOT HAVE THE FIVE SPIDERS included in the back as extras for Waldo Watchers. And the extra character who shows up in every scene is wearing a white long sleeved shirt with a red tie and has light gray hair. His skin color is almost tan. I'll tell you where he is on the first page, so you can know what to look for on the rest of the pages. On the first page of Where's Waldo "In Town" Scene the extra character is in the street in between the yellow truck and the blue car. Right behind the yellow truck there is a man walking in a pink long sleeved jacket, behind him is a boy wearing a green shirt and blue shorts standing on the yellow curb and on the side of the boy standing in the street is the extra character. Remember he's wearing a white long sleeved shirt, a red tie, tan skin color, gray hair and his face is always pointing right. You should have no problem finding him now Waldo lovers! But this is only for Where's Waldo Book One. Enjoy the tip!!! :)

Elsewhere this set was much more expensive. It's also a much better deal than buying each one separately. We love these books and they make great pastimes for kids as well as adults! You can literally spend hours on them. Beautiful color, wonderful artist, it's amazing how much he fit in every illustration. A great buy.

My kids loved the Waldo books when they were young. My daughter is now a 3rd grade teacher and this made an awesome gift to give her classroom!

I actually used to take out all of the books from the library when I was a child and was delighted to find this in a neat little package. I intend to use it in my classroom library and it currently resides in a fellow teacher's classroom library, where the children LOVE to find waldo over and over. What's nice about the books as well, is that once waldo is found, there are SOOOOOOOOOO many other things to be found. These books would also be great for helping children recognize details, helping them to track in order to learn to read and possible even a prompt for writing. I LOVE WALDO!

Where's Waldo Books are such a classic! I really liked the product! I have all ready gone through a couple! Really great books and fun for all ages! The young who have never seen em and the older who had them when they were younger! They really are great! Thank You!

THis was a Xmas gift for one of my Great Grandsons (4 years old). He was very happy with it which surprised me as after opening it I did not think that he would injoy it as much as he did.

I ordered this and it arrived fine but with one book missing and a double of another. I sent it back and it was resent to me with the same problem, so in the end I received a refund. Very disppointing.
