Finally!,

I've been a fan of Basement Jaxxx since the first Tomb Raider movie came out. I was thrilled that their single, "Where's Your Head At?" was on the soundtrack, at number 9. It is such a good song, and it's so easy to dance to. It's a fun, techno-ish beat that will leave you banging your head and shaking your hips for the 4 minutes and 42 seconds that the song lasts. I was very happy to see their music video for "Where's Your Head At?" on AOL. It was quite a humorous treat. So if you like fun, funky beats that you can dance to, then buy the single for "Where's Your Head At?" from Basement Jaxxx today!

When I knew that Where's Your Head At was gonna be a single, I was thrilled, it was the song that got me prancing and dancing to. Energetic, electronic and engaging. That's what I wanna say. Kudos to Astralwerks for releasing a maxi-single in the US! It's cramped with full of good stuff. the remixes to Where's Your Head At are all interpreted differently by each remixer and comes across as a well-coordinated remix project. There are bonuses here too, 2 remixes of the retro-disco Jus 1 Kiss and the acoustic version of the Indian-influenced Romeo. Plus the absolutely wacky video of Head.

Pretty cool. Great heavy beat, the kind I love to dance to. Could be good for a lively party (the kind you mingle and wiggle at.) Dance your toosh off all night long music. Or, you can turn it on loud in the car and annoy people, if you're into that.

BASMENT JAXX'S SONG "WHERE'S YOUR HEAD AT?" IS ON DDR ULTRAMIX 3. IT'S QUITE EASY TO DANCE TO AND THE REMIXES ARE PRETTY GOOD TOO. BUY THIS CD IF YOU LIKE BASEMENT JAXX AND/OR DDR.

Having bought both of Basement Jaxx's full length albums (Remedy & Rooty) I couldn't pass up getting my hands on this single. I first heard about Basement Jaxx from the Coca-Cola commercial which had the song "Red Alert." I immediatley fell in love. I bought Remedy and was VERY impressed. About a month later I bought Rooty. It wasn't as good as Remedy, but it's still great music. From Rooty I was really only impressed with three tracks, and two of which are either on or remixed on this disc. So I bought it. Tracks 1 through 5 are good, each with their own beat and style. Jus 1 Kiss never really impressed me, but track 6 is better than the original. Track 7 has a good dance beat to begin and then it gets better with a little industrial effect. Track 8 is probably the worst track. It has a good feel, but it lacks a climax to the point where it almost feels redundant. Track 9 is the Romeo acoustic version which I thought would be great to hear. I mean two DJs making a acoustic version of a good, fast, upbeat song? It should be great. But it ended up being a disappointment. It seems like a watered-down version of the original Romeo. But it's still interesting to see Basement Jaxx to take this route. The video on the enhanced part of the CD is great. I don't know if the video is available on Astralwerks' website, but I hadn't seen it before I bought this CD. It's a funny video that can't be told about, you have to experience it. Overall, this disc is great. I recommend it to anyone who likes any Basement Jaxx, you'll appreciate it.
