This is a fine CD by the underrated Shorty Rogers. The quintet is made up of Jimmy Guiffre on tenor Lew Levy on Piano, Ralph Pena on bass and Larry Bunker on drums and of course Shorty Rogers on fluglehorn. The second cut is especially nice, an extended mid tempo selection with Shorty's understated playing dominating!
