1.0 out of 5 stars Junk
This is a piece of junk. The channels that are listed on their web site are not available on this box. There are very few channels. It is worthwhile buying a cheap laptop and hooking it up to your TV. Do not waste your money on this junk!

I bought this device few weeks back. Activation was smooth and it automatically upgraded to latest software. I was able manage my guide from web and as well as from device. It has a big list of International and US channels. One thing i notice is that not all the channels on website are available on Receiver, but website has clearly marked icons to distinguish between those that works on device.

It has S-Video but it is only used for input, that was kind of strange for me because i thought that should be for video out. I called customer service and find out that this is not enabled in this version and will be used for Video-In (recording). Apart from that every thing works smooth. I really liked the You Tube integration and thats what we watched first few hours and especially my kids loved to see YT on tv (this is their fun device now).

I would say it is a excellent little gadget to take with you and watch your favorite channels from around the world. I am a foreigner and to see these channels i had to watch on computer and that you cannot enjoy with the family (banging your heads while trying to watch on computer).

Great device though, also per CS there are lot more features and channels coming soon.

I recently got WhereverTv and lets just say it has made it alot easy for me to see TV channels from my home country. Before that I used to see much of that on my laptop but now I can use my big tv for channels I watch most..

Cool device..

I luv this product as a foreigner in US. I can watch my home country channels without Cable or Dish. Actually, it will be a replacement for Cable and Dish soon.
