Agreed on AA batteries. I do a bit of international photography and can always find AA batteries. It's impossible to find specialized batteries in most of Africa and Latain America, and a charging unit for a specialized battery is just more gear to lug around, with the risk of loss.

Dang, anyone know if there are still any cameras that use real batteries like this? I'd have had to replace my Sony multiple times over if it used proprietary batteries. They're such a pain, and I wish NOTHING used them. I need a new/better camera though, and REALLY want something that still uses regular batteries.
