5.0 out of 5 stars Great book! A spiritual GPS system!, December 21, 2009
This review is from: Which Way Is Up? (Kindle Edition)
Three words: clarity, transparency, and compelling. This book hits the mark on all three. Peters addresses the confusion and misconceptions that many of us have about life and spirituality then gives clear biblical response and instruction. He is totally transparent giving readers a look into his own struggles and shortcomings. Political correctness and typical cliches go out the door with this book. It makes you take a hard look at who you are, where you are, and what you are doing about your life. Five stars!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Message That Is Needed for Today, February 11, 2010
This review is from: Which Way Is Up? (Paperback)
Whether you've been a believer 1 year or 50 years, this book will strengthen your faith. While many Christian books by "established" Christian authors over the last many years seem to focus on how God just wants to bless you and give you your desires, this book by an unlikely author - a dentist - delves into a serious examination of one's faith and what you're really living for. Backed up by loads of Scripture on seemingly every page, this book will challenge you. It won't make you jump up and down in glee about all God wants to do for you (there's no "fluff" here!), but it is a NEEDED message for the Body of Christ - that is absolutely VITAL for all who claim to be a Christian. I can't say I agreed with every last comment or thought in the book, and you will definitely come away with the feeling that this book was indeed written by a self-described "knucklehead" dentist - one who hasn't been writing books their whole life. But God loves to use the "knuckleheads!" And in this case, the message is one that is very pertinent and timely for the Church in America - a message long overdue. I highly recommend this book. - Chris Long, Laugh & Lift ministries, [...].

5.0 out of 5 stars What a Relevant Book!, September 15, 2011
This review is from: Which Way Is Up? (Paperback)
This book is relevant for everyone during these difficult times and is truly written from the heart of one who is close to God and does his best to live for Him every day. Mark's writing gives every Christian an opportunity to take an honest look at their spiritual walk with Jesus and an opportunity to accept Jesus if they haven't. You don't have to worry about a lot of religious jargon in this book, it reads as though Mark is sitting down and talking with you. I have done my own look at my spiritual walk and of course find opportunities for improvement. Our world is definitely in chaos and is spinning out of control. Our time on this planet may indeed be limited. Read Mark's book and be sure you have secured your place in eternity and are living the life God intended while we are here. We will all spend eternity somewhere! James Bouvier,Montgomery Texas.

5.0 out of 5 stars Order out of chaos, August 7, 2010
This review is from: Which Way Is Up? (Paperback)
It is very clear that Dr. Peters has a heart for Jesus and a longing for all to come to a saving knowledge of HIM. As Christians our testimonies are our most valuable tool in reaching others, and I admire Dr. Peters' ability to bring Jesus to many through his book. While it is true that we live in a world that can be chaotic the bigger truth is that we have a GOD who brings order out of the chaos. Which Way is Up? testifies to that truth.

5.0 out of 5 stars A hard-hitting, convicting challenge, March 31, 2010
This review is from: Which Way Is Up? (Paperback)
This is a timely and valuable read. There will be people who will bristle at the bold words Mark uses to describe the way to the Father. But Mark's ideas are grounded in God's inspired Word. There is no room for rationalization, compromise, discussion, excuses. That just is the way it is. There is no wiggle room here.

Outstanding book! Which Way is Up, is a great book that helps you focus on what is really important in your life. It is direct and to the point. Difficult subjects are addressed, but in a way that is meaningful to the reader. It has inspired me to not only delve deeper into God's Word, but also on a daily, consistent basis rather than once or twice a week. It has strengthed my prayer life and ultimately my relationship with our Creator. This book is a must read for those who feel like their faith isn't all it should be and who want to be inspired to serve our God in a greater way.

5.0 out of 5 stars Which Way Is Up?, January 30, 2010
This review is from: Which Way Is Up? (Paperback)
Regardless of where you are in the walk on this earth this book will touch you in a special way. It makes you realize something all have to deal with---eternity ----the truth----
Then through Mark's experiences we are shown how to reach the goal. For me the book has made me wake up--evaluate where I am and start dealing with what is of the up most importance. After reading "Which Way is Up" I see how to open the door to tell others of the Jesus I love. Thank you Mark for reminding me--------for teaching me-----thank you for your obedience to God in writing this book.
This book is a must read !

5.0 out of 5 stars Too Busy Not to Read This, January 28, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Which Way Is Up? (Paperback)
I'm a stay-at-home mom who stays pretty "busy", but this book has certainly convicted me of my "busyness." I'm too busy not to take time to learn more about the One who created me. Mark's book showed me the importance of making time to study God's Word so that my life can be honoring and glorifying to Him. Thank you Mark for helping me to see the importance of having a stronger relationship with Christ and how fruitful that can be for me and others. It's time for me to slow down and listen. Thank you for your gift to this "busy" mom.

5.0 out of 5 stars What is means to have a relationship with Jesus, January 26, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Which Way Is Up? (Paperback)
Dr. Peter's book gives a clear and understandable explanation of what a real relationship with Jesus is. Also how important being In His Word daily is to your relationship. I ordered nine more copies to give to friends and family. After re-reading I will probably order Ten more to give to others.
