Again I thought I had no use for this app, as I can do simple percentages in my head. (I have an M.S. in behavioral statistics.) However after reading the reviews and installing the app, I realize how helpful this will be to me. Following are the features I found most useful:
1. The presentation of the program is very clean, uncluttered. Nothing to distract me from the task.
2. The different calculations were presented in the language of use, rather than that of mathematics, rendering the decision process very easy.
3. The method of explanation helps one to determine which is the calculation needed, when it may be unclear from the situation.
4. While I know these equations, I, being human, make mistakes and forget details. A calculator does not.
A comment to those who advertise their prejudices and ignorance: many learning disabilities, but most specifically math learning disabilities, have been found to be biologically- based. This means that the area of the brain which performs mathematical functions is often somehow compromised or slightly abnormal. To disparage such people is more an indictment of yourself than an insult to them.
Some people need this app because the educational system failed them. I do not understand the need to insult a person who has been so mistreated as to receive a poor education. Such people who have downloaded this app clearly realize their deficiencies and have taken steps to lessen the impact of the injustices they have experienced. Rather than insults, I offer compliments to anyone who seeks to improve his/her accuracy in daily life.

the app does exactly what it says it does. it won't replace your stock calculator because it only does percentages... but it works well. and to those reviews that said where is the decimal point? IT'S ON THE RIGHT!!!

When I saw the title 'percent calculator (pro)' and saw that they normally charge $0.99 for the app I figured this has to do something special. Certainly its not just a glorified tip calculator? Low and behold.

Neat App
Comes in handy in restaurants. Not only calculates the tip at your designated percentage but calculates each persons portion of the tip.
