Whigfield is a great dance artist from Denmark. Her music makes you want to party till you drop, and she's had huge success in Europe. This album is a classic, and a gem to have. I would highly recommend it, if you like Gina G, Berri, Alexia, Me& My, and other female euro-dance singers. Whigfield has a very unique voice, and happy tunes for the dance floor.

This CD has got non-stop fast music, with great tunes and great beats.

I bought this album 5, yes 5 years ago and still listen to it frequently. With fun tunes like 'Think of you', 'Another day', 'Big time', 'Sexy eyes' and the classic 'Saturday night', now that is stil played constantly in European discos, and will for a long time. You even have a ballad, 'Close to you'. If you've never heard of her, PLEASE buy it. Also WHIGFIELD VOL.II, is sheer class.

This is a fantastico pop album, the best i've heard (along with Whigfield 2 and 3 :) of course!!) You can listen to this because the music is so different to what has ever been done before and the songs are simple but soooo catchy!! Think of you is my favourite song, but all the songs are great! Saturday night is THE classic Whigfield song, 'Close to you' is a lush love song, but one of the best on the album! Sexy eyes and Another day are cheeky cute songs! Big time and Out of sight are positive, funky songs and Dont walk away, Aint it blue and I want to love are dance songs and make the album a more complete listen! Beleive me this is great for any pop fan, so if you have never heard of her or have but didnt know if to buy the album, then you definetly should!

I grew up listening to the music of the 80's & 90's but somewhere along the line, I missed this artist in the conundrum of the extensive music industry! The 90's marked an era of new generation pop artist with danceable tunes. One of them that came out was this artist from Denmark that made waves in the European charts--Whigfield. I love her dance tunes especially "Saturday Night". The ballad & remix versions of "Close To You" were my favorites. I've recently gotten MP3's of her songs and I'm absolutely delighted in always listening to them. More power to Whigfield!

This first Whigfield album is my favourite of the 4 ! It has great tracks, with the exception of "Close To You" which is a typical ballad that I don't like. But the rest, is, well, super ! "Saturday Night" is the most well known track, and in the same style there are "Another Day", "Think Of You", "Sexy Eyes" and "Out Of Sight". These are dance tracks, but maybe falling a little in the bubblegum style (but not too much, it's much more eurodance than bubblegum). "I Want To Love" and "Ain't It Blue" are my favourites. These are serious eurodance tracks, the exact style for me :-) then there is "Big Time", a euro-reggae track in the same style as i.e. "Coco Jamboo" by Mr. President, or "Summer Summer" by LOFT. "Don't Walk Away" is more of an R&B track but I liked it. This is a super album recommended to those who enjoyed "Saturday Night" !

It's a very good cd and the songs makes you dance and party all day and night. She has a very high but good voice as well.

This CD is very good. It has a good variety of dance music. It makes you want to get up and dance. She should be more popular in the US.

THANK GOD!! At last, a bloody brilliant piece of music. Whigfield totally redefined music with her song SATURDAY NIGHT. PLEEZE, everyone, BUY THIS ALBUM!! Do yourself a favor, and buy this excellent piece of music.

I may be bias because I love have Whigfield since I developed a tease for music. This CD is full of fun pop/dance songs. It is easy to listen to and works well on a couple disk random. The sound is happy and fun and can make you smile.
