I went to a show to see 30 Seconds to Mars, and had never heard of this band. I bought their cd RIGHT THERE! They signed it, chatted with us a while, and even remembered us at a later show and came up to say hi. They are friendly people as well. The whole cd is awesome. It has been in heavy roatation in my cd player ever since. It is a great mix of dance/pop/rock/alternative. It is really hard to put them into one group, because it is a little bit of everything. Be sure to listen with a sense of humor in mind. The band is the first to admit that their music isn't suppose to be serious. Just listen up, shake your booty, and have fun!

I just gotta say something about this! I saw them live last night, opening for a ton of other groups (Recieving End Of Sirens, Head Automatica, Rock Kills Kid, and the headliner 30 Seconds to Mars) and I gotta say, it makes a lot of sense why they picked Cobra Starship for the opener because they had more energy than most of the other people there! They were literally amazing, I loved everything they did. Check them out, and buy this album to support them!!!

Cobra Startship's debut album will put you in such a great musical mood, you wont be able to help dancing with yourself!

Gabe Saporta knows just want it takes to get the listener to really feel his songs and get you moving!

My favorite tracks are Send my Love... The balland of Big Poppa... The Kids are all F'd up.

Disapointed with the lack of reviews, and being with out an account, I have to use this form. Anyway:

Being From Jersey Means Never Having To Say You're Sorry-5/10 I rally didn't like this song, it's slow and Gabe's voice sounds weird.

Send My Love To The Dancefloor I'll See You In Hell (Hey Mister D.J.)-10/10 Makes up for the first track and then some! The lyrics will get stuck in your head all day.

The Church Of Hot Addiction-8/10 Pretty good song, not the best.

The Kids Are All F***ed Up-10/10 Really good, somehow has a sureal feeling.

It's Warmer In The Basement-10/10 My favorite track! It's catchy, the lyrics are great. It's up there with Hey Mister DJ.

Keep It Simple-7/10 It's okay, but I usually skip it.

It's Amateur Night At The Appollo Creed!-8/10 Good, nice chorus.

Bring It (Snakes On A Plane)-10/10 Yeah, it's that 'Snakes on a Plane Song'. Good song, however terrible the movie.

The Ballad Of Big Poppa And Diamond Girl-9/10 Nice chorus, good song.

Pop-Punk Is Sooooo '05- 10/10 Amazing. The whole song is just great! I love it!

You Can't Be Missed If You Never Go Away-Oddly enough, I have never heard this one, it's not on my copy.

I got this CD the day it came out, and listen to it almost every day. I'm still not tired of it! Worth buying!

Dudes this album is sick all the way through!!! If you dig gabes voice and songs, you must check out all of his "midtown" albums!!! they are different, but evenly good!!!!

This is an awesome cd, it is fun and enjoyable to listeto, if you have not listened to this cd then i recommend that you do. the best songs on this cd are

Cobra starship is the ISH!! i love love love them !!! so so so so good, and this cd is AWESOME While the City Sleeps: We Rule the Streets

People who say that they can't take Cobra Starship seriously and say that they're just a joke are extremely misinformed that Cobra Starship is one of the best Pop-Punk-Electronica bands out there. Their music can be silly at times, but that's just added in fun and humor, which I respect them for. I haven't heard one Cobra Starship song that wasn't a fun, catchy romp of guitar, Gabe's voice, and delightful keytar. This album is for people who love bands like Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy, and Paramore. I loved every second of this album, and their next two albums are fantastic as well. A recommended buy :)

I love the songs on here!!! They're catchy and get stuck in your head very easily. The one I ordered also came with a bonus dvd with some music videos from other artists too! You may only get that if you purchase a new cd though.

This album was amazing! Although i did not get it when it first came out i had gotten Viva La Cobra first and i loved that album so i am like oh, i should give this one a try! This may not be better then viva la cobra it is still 5 star worthy! My favorite 2 songs on here are the kids are all F***ed up and bring it (snakes on a plane). Those 2 really stand out from the rest! This is also a little different beat from their second one...but that is o.k. because that means this is a band that likes to to try new stuff! Normally i do not listen to bands like this and i liked this cd so that is saying a lot! Also, the titled of this review does say it all!
