For those looking for the Dusty Springfield/Daryl Hall song, "Wherever Would I Be", you can find it on Dusty's CD "A Very Fine Love".

I bought this CD for my wife since she loves the movie. I thought it would contain many of the songs that I find her huming around the house. This was sadly not the case.

I liked the CD overall but I was disappointed that it did not contain many of the songs found in the movie. I don't know if they had rights problems or what but most of the music on this CD is just that, music and nothing more.

If you are huge fan of the movie you might enjoy this CD since you can see the movie in your mind as the music plays. But if you are really wanted some of the songs (such as "Christmas in Chicago" and "This Could Be") than you might want to skip this CD.

I liked the CD just as much as the movie. Like another reviewer I liked the song at the end, as was hoping it would be included, but it wasn't. The end credit song is "Wherever Would I Be" by Daryl Hall (of Hall and Oates) and Dusty Springfield.

My all-time favorite movie is "While You Were Sleeping", and I couldn't wait to hear the soundtrack! Randy Edelman did a great job of capturing the feel of this movie with the whimsical music used in the film. If you close your eyes while listening, you can picture every scene from Lucy saving Peter, to Joe Junior and Jack's discussion about "leaning"! The music is all straight from the film, and completely instrumental. The only drawback is that it tends to be repetitive. If you want to hear some soft, light-hearted music while cleaning house or going to bed, this CD hits the spot, but if you are not a die-hard fan of this movie, you won't fully appreciate this soundtrack.

I don't get the people who did the eariler reviews. Of course this CD doesn't have any various artists on is because it is a SCORE SOUNDTRACK not a VARIOUS ARTIST SOUNDTRACK. Don't critsize the music for a mistake you made.

I love the music and the movie as well. It deserves 5 stars. Without the funny, light music some of the humor would have been taken away. Music adds the emotion to a score. When you see a sad scene - funny music would ruin the moment. A true soundtrack writer can make you cry because you are so effected by the music. The music in this movie just makes me laugh over and over again. Whenever I think of this movie I hum the tune - that is evidence of a truly talented movie score writer.

It's the biggest movie of all time in my life, and it took me a long time to get this CD after viewing the movie over 10 times! I fell in love with the movie, and its music really kept me feeling good. The light pieces are immediate pick me ups, and the romantic love theme really brings makes you feel Lucy's sentiments and melt your heart...

If you loved the movie, this is a nice enough collection of the picture's score. The love theme is sweet and memorable & surely you'll remember Lucy being wisked away on the train in the final scene with the man of her dreams. The movie was cute, the music is sweet. Another two fine soundtracks are RETURN TO ME and SOMEWHERE IN TIME.

This is one of the best romantic/comedies I've ever seen. Lucy was a young lady you really felt for and wanted to know. The music from the track really tied in well with the movie. I especially like the romantic tracks that tend to repeat in different forms throughout the movie. Thumbs up to a real keeper!

The movie is one of my all-time favorites. I also love the music, but I was disappointed that it was only the background music and contained none of the other songs from the movie.

I disagree with Mr. Michigan. I buy a soundtrack for the actual songs that are in the movie, not the music they play in the background of a scene. I too wanted to find "Christmas in Chicago", etc. So, he should not presume to know what every person looks for in a soundtrack based on his own opinion. I will be skipping this soundtrack.
