About the Author

Elizabeth Hawkins (Liz) resides in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, with her husband, four children and Schnoodle. Her background is in fine arts and watercolor. She enjoys the conception and design side of Lizzie B and travels everywhere with the tools of her trade: a sketchbook and iPhone! She just never knows when she may need to snap a picture or do a quick sketch of an idea that pops into her head. When she's NOT busy sketching, stitching or playing taxi mom, she may be singing with The Noteables, playing her flute or pennywhistle, playing Guitar Hero, catching up with friends on Facebook, or in some incredibly rare but wonderful instances...reading a good book.

Elizabeth Hawkins (Beth) resides in Tucson, Arizona, with her husband, four children and Goldendoodle. She has a background in design and business. She's the Lizzie B pattern writer and bookkeeper, which requires quite a bit of attention to fine detail in both areas! She also travels with her iPhone, since she and Liz are constantly zapping pictures of fabric and designs back and forth to each other when they can't be together. When she's NOT busy doing math, writing patterns, stitching or playing taxi mom, she may be writing to her son in Mexico, catching up with friends on Facebook, talking to Mama C, cleaning up after her puppy and reading or listening to a good book before bed (trying really hard not to fall asleep mid-sentence).

This is a fun book, It has many cute, easy projects to make. Their stories have just the right amount of silliness to make your heart light. I already have a few projects from this book in the works.
