I'm not much of a poetry reader and I wouldn't call myself a birder, but these really speak to me. I
The author's language is precise and evocative, not at all precious, and beautifully, carefully observed. If you've ever watched wildlife, you will have moments of glorious recognition and wonder at how perfectly Galvin has captured something you've seen but couldn't describe. Highly recommended to anyone who appreciates nature and has at least an on open mind about poetry. |
