Jan Darzek Novel,
This review is from: The Whirligig of Time: A Jan Darzek Novel (Paperback)
The last of Lloyd Biggle Jr's Jan Darzek novels finds him facing a planetary blackmailer/terrorist intent on turning one of the peaceful Galactic Synthesis planets into a sun. He and Mrs. Schluppy, coordinating a host colorful some helpful, some not, alien scientists and law enforcement agents doggedly pursue the villain and attempt to evacuate the planet. Unlike the third and fourth books of the series I considered this novel was almost as good as "Watchers in the Dark" and "All the Colors of Darkness."

This review is from: The whirligig of time (Hardcover)
I startring reading the 'Dark' Series of Biggle many years and loved the first two, "All the Colors of Darkness" and "Watchers of the Dark". I recently bought all of them to restart the series. I soon found that a 1980's era human, acting like a sterotypical gumshoe in the Galaxy wears too thing. If fades quickly, decending to this, the final book. Don;t expecit much, other that seeing Mike Hammer, Jim Rockford and Thomas Magnum working with aliens.
