and very quick delivery. Found a video on youtube that showed how to replace the lower door cam without removing the door. After removing the lower grill cover, just lift the door slightly and slide a piece of 2x6 on edge under the lower edge of the door. The magnetic door gasket and the upper hinge will hold the door in place while the lower hinge bracket is removed (two 5/16 inch hex head screws).

The lower cam is attached to the removed lower hinge bracket with one 5/16 inch hex head screw. The upper cam is attached with one 5/16 inch hex head screw to the upper hinge bracket on the door. After the screw is removed, the upper cam can be pried out with a putty knife or flat bladed screw driver. I lubed the new cams with a little dielectric grease before mounting them.

This is not a difficult repair. The door closes by itself again when it is off the cam notch, It should also prevent condensation and frost in the refrigerator section because the door has been raised almost an 1/8 inch with the new cams and seals better.

I got this fridge door cam kit to repair a nasty click that had developed on my fridge door upon opening and closing it.

I simply replaced all the original plastic parts with these ones, tightened all the bolts well, and greased all the plastic parts that make contact with each other.

The fridge door is as good as new!

We've owned our refrigerator for 8 years. I've replaced the lower door closer 3 times. I believe it's because our three son's hang on the door while it's being opened and that causes the "hump" on the door closer to grind down to a flat surface. I've even removed a shelf and items from the inside door to reduce the weight, but closer continues to grind away. Either the plastic isn't durable, the design is flawed, or the boys hanging on the door continues to be a problem.

After 6 months of service the new parts completely wore out. The original parts lasted for several years. I can only assume that an inferior material was used.

Based on all reviews I replaced door gasket. While door was off for new gasket I noticed the lower hinge. The lower hinge ramps were worn off which kept the door from closing fully. In the end my problem was not the gasket, but only the small easy to change plastic hinge ramp.

Whirlpool had a very poor design on their doors and the pieces i bought here wear out regularly. This is the best price I have found them at and all the pieces I needed were there.

This kit has everything I needed for my KitchenAid side by side. The food door wouldn't keep itself closed if it was slightly ajar. If the door was pushed closed, the magnetic gasket would hold it, but if you didn't firmly close the door, it would remain slightly open. The problem is the little plastic cams at the bottom of the door, which have groves that guide the door closed, had worn out.

This kit had everything I needed. The undocumented parts in the image, the ones shaped like an L, are the ones I needed for the door bottom of my KitchenAid. The whole kit supplies parts for many other makes of refrigerators, like Whirlpool ans some Sears, so you'll have leftovers.

I went on YouTube and found a video on how to replace the parts, which while not exactly covering my specific make and model, was close enough to show me what to do. All told, start to finish (including overthinking the problem, took 20 minutes.
