I used this part on a Kenmore HE5t 110.47081601. Part fit perfectly. I used the general instructions at fixya.com which I have copied below. Notes/deviations from these instructions are:

HE5t is a little bit different.
1. OK
2. OK
3. First you have to remove the silver trim ring from around the door. This part is just held in place by some retaining clips; as careful as I was, 50% of the clips broke when I took it off. HOWEVER it went back on with no problems. There were two screws behind the dispenser and two under the top cover. Just had to work part to get it off, I believe it pulls off straight toward front.
4. This is is on the OUTSIDE of the washer, it is a hard-to-see wire that you can "pop off" once you find the spring located at the bottom lip of the door.
5. Only two screws. This latch is held in place (on the washer) on a VERY flimsy plastic clip...mine broke but I didn't have any problem getting it all back together.
6. Only two screws. Door will stay where it is as you take them out; you have to lift the door up to remove it.
7. OK
8. OK
9. OK the screw on my "hose clamp" was in a bad spot and took some work to get it loose.
10. No instructions, but fit was intuitive; there was a tab at top center and very apparent where dispenser tube connected.
11. HE5t did not have the tube clamp.
12. The outer clamp was difficult to get back into place. I found it easier to use two sets of needle nose pliers to spread the spring and a beautiful girl to help hold the clamp in place.
13. OK
14. Did not have this diagnostic on HE5t.

My 5 year old Kenmore HE5t front load washer bellows developed a tear on the bottom edge.
I made a temp fix via vinyl pool patch & duct tape, it worked for 3-4 weeks as I looked into repair options.
Bought this one March-2012, I saw prices over $100 to in the $60's.
This service part is a genuine OE part, it has all the same in mold markings as the original, and the "run date" for my part was Aug-2011.

However, the "flatness" of this part when you open the door is not the exact same as the original part.
IMO, it's like the part was "too hot" from the mold and developed some waves as it cooled.
What this does is cause water not to drain down, to gather on the bellows itself.

If I could post a picture I would.
The washer does NOT leak, it works 100% at sealing.

Our Whirlpool Duet washer was constantly leaking, so I ordered this part on the assumption the bellow was leaking. And actually, there were a couple of holes punched in the old bellow but I had previously sealed those up with 100% silicone and it appeared to still be holding tight. Still, I went ahead and replaced the bellows.

It wasn't until after I had replaced bellow, that I noticed the drain clean-out access cover inside the lower panel. I opened the drain catch and was surprised to learn it was completely filled with junk (shoestrings, pencils, pens, several dollars in change, lint, you-name-it). It is very likely the leak was due to the drain pump not being able to completely empty the washer because of all the debris. We had never cleaned this out in 8 years of heavy use.

So, before ordering a new bellows, I would highly recommend you clean out your drain catch first and see if that fixes your leak problem; just search "Whirlpool Duet drain catch" on YouTube should give you a nice demonstration of how to access, remove and clean out the drain catch.

Amazon says 5 stars means "Love it". It's very hard to love a washing machine part. This one isn't lovable, but it is an exact replacement, arrived in a sealed, legitimate Whirlpool carton, fits exactly, and is the same quality as the one that came off. And, delivery was prompt.

Most folks have to change these because of a tear or chunk that comes off near the bottom. The is happens because of the abuse that occurs when loading and unloading. It's tempting to shove clothes in and yank them out.... we're all in a rush these days.... but that's the main cause of a damaged seal. Be gentle while loading and unloading, and your boot will probably not be nearly as likely to tear.

Be forewarned that if your machine uses a teardrop looking trim ring, it's one of the parts that has to come off, and it's held in place by two curved grey plastic strips on either side of the door. The trim ring is snapped in place, and it's very likely you'll break a few of the snaps. Each of these rings is $30, and they're not available on Amazon. In my case, a couple of them broke, but the teardrop trim seems to be pretty secure so I'm leaving it alone for now.

My machine is a WFW9750WW01 duet. Most Duets are similar but there are some small differences. Start by unplugging the machine.
