This is a thermal fuse used in whirlpool dish washers. It is model specific so you need to check the part number to your own model number to find a match. This is a revised thermal fuse that was changed to replace the older ones (they were known to be faulty). It is installed and works with no problems at all. It certainly seems sturdier than the old one. No complaints yet. Will post if it fails.
