Recieved the Hepa and charcoal filter quickly. A breeze to install into the Whirlpool Whispure 510. I would definitely buy these again.

I took the filter out of the shipping box. I took the cover and prefilter off the unit and my 20 month old son took out the dirty old filter and placed the new one with verbal instruction from me. So easy a baby can do it! The hardest part was finding the filter for less that $90-$100. Thank goodness for FiltersFast and Amazon!

These filters are the great. No more allergies. They do a better job than any of the medications that my family has been on. We use them in our bedrooms. And feel great in the morning.

It's a decent filter. If you bought the HEPA unit itself, you're probably aiming for good air quality. I've had this unit for 2 years now. I have very bad seasonal allergies, and this unit helped me a good bit. Make sure you consider the square footage of the area you're filtering. On the downside, you need to shell out 70-80 every year on a HEPA filter.

I bought the Whirlpool Whispure 510 air cleaner several years ago and finally needed to replace the HEPA filter. The air cleaner itself had to be aired out for about a year to get rid of the plastic scent but once I had it inside and working it was very satisfactory. The HEPA filter to which this review refers also needed to be aired out but only for a couple of weeks. It went into the air cleaner with ease and is now working well.

This product does exactly what it is supposed too. As a result, our allergies are greatly reduced.

It's a piece of cake to pop out the old filter and put in a new one. You should definately do it at least once a year. My old filter started to smell after only 9 months. When I removed it, it was brown! Good thing I changed it.

The filter that came is the name brand replacement for my filter - not a chipboard, low cost version.
