Oh my gosh this freakin thing is loud. It's supposed to have noise reduction but it's the loudest washer I've ever heard. When it changes cycles, especially to spin cycle, we all nearly jump out of our skin. It sounds like a pneumatic catapult launcher banging. And the delicate cycle is anything but. It sounds like the intention is to remove ink and tar stains from burlap bags.
DUCK AND COVER!!! The only redeeming quality is that on regular cycle, in spite of the noise, does get clothes clean. If you want a good, reasonably priced, American made washer, look for a Speed Queen. They're a little hard to find but worth it. |
