I just discovered this band through browsing online and decided to take a chance on it , well... was i lucky .
Its absolutely superb from start to finish and i can't stop listening to it , it just gets better and better every time. Now i hear that its getting released over here by Proper ( a fine label , i love Nick Lowes latest stuff) so im even happier cos they may tour . If so , please come to Scotland guys you'll get a warm welcome. Get known quickly by getting the record to Allan Jones at UNCUT , he'll love it ! It done wonders for Richmond Fontaine !
Anyway , great album , a new Americana classic if im not mistaken , and i rarely am . Lovely.
The Hideaways rock !!!!

Bottlerockets reborn, October 9, 2006

This album very much captured the feeling of The Bottlerockets in their early years. Each singer/songwriter has their own style, ranging from melancholy to lighthearted to rockin. If you're a fan of Son Volt, Bottlerockets, and early Wilco, you'll looooooove this album.
