Good Mix, January 20, 2000

To be honest, I purchased this thinking that many tracks would be the same as on the main albums, from the main three artists; Lasar, Ayman and Hisham. I haven't heard any of the Ayman and Hisham tracks here on their available albums, but the Lasar ones; 'Pioneers' and 'The Madician' are from '11:02'. Track 4 is my favourite, catching a dark eastern atmosphere, followed by Pioneers. There are some tracks which don't quite hack it like track 2 (Pegasus), sounding like an Arabic budget fairy tale series theme.
It's all orientated to middle eastern new age, as you would expect, with spot-on cover art. A good mix of tracks are here giving a 'different' atmosphere - definately one for fans of new age or for unusual backing music. Some of these tracks could have easily been used in films like 'The Mummy'.

Dance with this? ABSOLUTELY!!, March 5, 2003

This is such a delightful album and a nice mix of happy melodies and moody, middle-eastern rhythms. I have albums by all three and this is a wonderful combination of talents. You should check out Hisham's album "Somewhere in a Dream" if you like this and any album by Mars Lasar is a keeper. His album "Escape" and "11:02" are fantastic.
