Angel Walker, the notorious stage coach robber and Read Spencer, a man shot and permanently injured by Angel, find themselves snowed in a cabin and have to take care of each other. A whisper at midnight never sounds so enduring as when Reid and Angel both overcome their mistrusts and commit themselves to a love they can't deny. I'm a reader that looks for books with excitement and deep emotions between characters. A Whisper at Midnight came through with all of that and more. It was packed with wonderful scenes of high risk and heart wrenching moments. I felt like I was part of Reid and Angel's community in Montana Territory. Ms. Hoffman definitely lived up to my high expectations when I purchase a book, and I look forward to reading more titles from this author in the future. If you like books with unending emotion, you won't be disappointed in this romance novel!
