Indie/folk without the pretentiousness, you can dance and sing along with them with no judging looks! "Whisper Down the Lane" is the newest from Drexel's Mad Dragon Records (who also produced The Swimmers and The Redwalls) and already I'm hearing them on radio stations around PA! So excited to see this band growing! I recommend them for fans of fellow Philly bands Dr. Dog and Good Old War as well as Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros.

The new Toy Soldier's album is surprisingly good. Little Bluesy, little folky, and a packs a punch! Glad I picked it up! It's a good pic if you're looking into something that doesn't sound like indie vomit.

It's really nice find a band that sounds so different than most bands out there right now. I love their soulful vocals and the fusion of all the different instruments they us. One of the few albums that I can listen to from start to finish!

"Whisper Down The Lane" by Toy Soldiers is one of the most refreshing albums to come out of 2010. I absolutely love how they get down to the roots of their songs and have no qualms about introducing instruments that aren't typically seen in popular music. With such great musical and lyrical content, this album is nothing short of enjoyable.

This album is the perfect fusion of country/blue grass and indie! I have to agree with the rest of these reviews and say that this is an incredible album. In a world where music is turning to pre-programmed keyboards and laptops, this is a perfect slice of originality. Definitely pick this album ASAP!!

This album is' awesome. Toy Soliders combine blues and indie rock in the best way ever possible. This album is refreshing to hear, and I'm addicted to it. I'd recommend it to anyone.
