These are worth every penny. They look fantastic and keep my xbox significantly cooler. It looks even better if you cut the metal grill that covers the fan off. Great buy.

I got this when the fans on my old system died. From what I can tell, they don't really make anything cooler (they are just tiny case fans after all). While the noise in idle is nice and low, they still ramp up like the old ones and can be heard from downstairs when I play for about 10 minutes.

I would say grab these if you need to replace a faulty set, but don't grab them to upgrade. The performance on these fans are not really what they are advertised to be.

this is a good upgrade fore. the 360 at a good price..i have no problems with it some people say it get loud but i only nothice it when the 360 gets hot 2 where it needs 2 kick on that high but besides that good product fully worth the price

I'd say that I was skeptical at first but I knew I gotta try this since my Xbox's warranty is voided and I fixed the RROD problem recently. So with the "what the hell" attitude, I bought it and installed it. I was pleased at how well it performs and the added led light bonus :D

My son purchased this for his x box. We got the item in record time and he was able to replace his old fan without a problem. He said this one works alot better than the original.
We are pleased with the purchase.

do not buy this product it really emits almost no lights and it gave my mxbox the red ring of death

I ordered this to help prevent recurrence of the dreaded XBox 360 Red Ring Of Death (RROD).
Firstly, "Whisper" is a bit of a misnomer because there's definitely noise involved; whether or not it's more noise than the OEM fans I can't say, I got the XBox in nonfunctioning RROD condition so i have no means to make an accurate comparision.
Once the console is opened up istallation is easy and painless. After a simple swap the fans work as expected and - along with an X-clamp removal kit, some thermal pads, and aluminum heatsinks - the fans are helping to keep my now repaired console running at a "cool" ~115-120 Deg F. The red light emitted by the fan is unobtrusive, and not at all annoying or distracting; it adds a nice soft glow to the inside of the cabinet housing my 360.

I can't say if this product is necessary to solve RROD or if it's sufficient to solve RROD on its own. I can say only that I took the steps that seemed to me most logical in resolving the internal heat issue that causes RROD, and a cooling fan upgrade seemed logical. After the aforementioned steps, my 360 is working without a hitch going on 3 months.

All in all, a good product, worth the cost.

It is only SLIGHTLY quieter than the stock fan. The red LED's are nice and it does seem to push a little more air....but 'Whisper"...I think not.

I bought this because the product claimed "to move 58% more air" than the stock Xbox 360 fans. Hogwash. I let the Xbox 360 idle for 5 minutes and then wrote down my temperature, first with the Whisper fan ( red LED ) and then with the stock fan:

Temp with whisper fan:
CPU: 46.2C; GPU: 58.3C; MEM: 57.7C; CASE: 38.5C

Temp with stock fan:
CPU: 45.2C; GPU: 56.7C; MEM: 56.0C; CASE: 37.3C

Difference: CPU: 1.0C; CPU: 1.6C; MEM: 1.7C; CASE 1.2C

Results: Instead being more effective at cooling, it was LESS effective. My results contradict the claim that "the Whisper will lower the temperature of your Xbox." Since product quality matters to me, I'm returning this and sticking with the stock fan.
