Whispered Kisses is a work of art. The author really put a lot of work into it and it shows. It begins with a chance meeting of Jace Elliot and Laura Leigh Webster. Laura is an heiress and Jace is an alleged criminal. As he tries to find out who framed him for murder, Laura and Jace begin to secretly fall in love even though they've been warned against it. On a safari in Africa, Laura finds herself panting from more than the tropical heat. Everything is fine until Leigh starts having lots of near-fatal accidents. Or are they accidents? Jace has to uncover the evil that is threatening Leigh's life and that has unjustly made him a criminal. If he doesn't find out who's plotting against them he could lose Leigh; the only woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. She's his only chance at love. Will he lose her in the end? This book is one of my favorites. I've read it more than 5 times and I still love it. Read this book for yourself. You won't be able to put it down for a second, it's a real page turner. This book is for anyone who likes a good romance novel. Read it for yourself, and find out if there will be a happily-ever-after for Jace and Leigh.

So different from Taylor's westerns and other works. This was terrific. It was as if I was taking a real safari.
