We had always purchased pet beds locally at Sam's Club, PetSmart, and tried to stay under $50...which is a hard thing to do. The results were always the same. Flat after a few weeks, lumpy, and nothing near what this pet bed is. We were amazed when we took it out of the box! Super thick, a soft cover, and so cozy. Big enough for my 75 lb husky mix and my 15 lb terrier to enjoy together! We plan on purchasing more of these for other rooms in the house. The price for this quality of bed is unbelievable.

I have a 13 year old arthritic corgie sheltie shephard mix. I bought a bed from Walmart and he wouldn't use it. Bought this bed from Petco for $50 and he took to it immediately. Bought another from Amazon and with shipping, cost $10 less than Petco in store price. Highly recommend this bed for anyone with arthritic or disabled pets.

We have four dogs and purchased two of the beds (I didn't realize how big the beds were!). Our dogs seem to really enjoy the beds. The beds are thick and seem to retain their shape (cheaper beds use fluffy cotton stuffing that balls up and looks lumpy). Very nice color and the bed cover top looks comfy but the bottom layer of the cover looks a little thin; I wonder if it will last through many washings. After only one week of use I washed the covers and one of the zippers came apart. This is probably just a manufacturing problem, not a complaint against the bed design. One nice thing is that the inner foam is covered in a silk-like material which makes it easy to slip the bedding into the cover. I hope the beds last for a while, otherwise I'm back to the $20 beds from Sam's club.

Petco set us the beds for our dogs in record time via FedX. As soon as I opened the boxes my dogs jumped on them. They love them. We had to wash them several times already and they held up fine.

The only problem is my dog doesn't want to get off of it! He was glued to my couch until this bed came, now he is addicted to it. Great product, great value.

My Sheltie had an arthritic back knee that made it hard for him to walk or getup or down. This bed was so comfy that he took to it immediately. Since it has "dots" on the bottom that keep it from sliding, it didn't move when he tried to get up. It gave the poor dog tremendous relief. The top is a soft velvety material and even better is that there is a water resistant inner liner (removable also) so that if the dog soils the bed it doesn't ruin the pads inside. The only down side is the zipper. The cover fits tight so the dog doesn't slide but the zipper could have used another inch so you don't have to struggle so getting the cover on and off. I can see where it will probably break in the not too distant future. Overall a great bed at an incredible price.

I'm pretty happy with this bed because my dog is. I was worried I would have to buy some extra filling after reading some of the other reviews, but my 70 lb 12 year old arthritic dog loves it. With the gel inserts he's not sinking down to the ground. And the price for the size of the bed is really great. My only complaint would be that I wish they made a choice of colors.

My lab didn't really got crazy or it up to the moment I took away her old bed and she had to try the new one. After the first night she didn't want the old one anymore and loves the new one.
The bed is really confortable - even my kids asked if they make them bigger for them ;o)

Have been shopping for a good orthopedic bed for my aging aching German Shepherd for quite some time. Found the winner in this one! The dogs LOVE it. Have had it about one month and seems to be holding up quite well!

It took my boxer a few tries to get used to this bed, but after his first night, he loves it. Whenever he and I are in the room together, he is on his bed. It helps that the outer portion is machine washable. My dog is probably special, but I recommend purchasing a baby/toddler mattress pad to put on it. My dog, 7 month old, has already had a few accidents.
