This CD was the 1st Platinum selling CD in Australian music history... and no wonder, its excellent from beginning to end. From what I understand John started his music career in Australia as a teen pop star, and as most teen stars do, they fade away... then a brief run as the singer for Little River Band, John/The Voice hit the charts of Australia with Whispering Jack in 1986 and hasn't stopped yet... he has had an amazing career since then, selling millions of LP/CD's. Whispering Jack is where his 2nd start began... This 20th Anniversary Edition has been remastered and sounds wonderful... In Australia he is known as The Voice, buy this CD and see why, he is amazing.....

John is one of the best singers I have ever heard. When he fronted LRB in '83 I heard John for the first time. His voice has haunted me since.I have tried to buy Johns DVDs but they are all in PAL format. My player wount do PAL. Does anyone know if the DVD in this Whispering Jack offering is NTSC or PAL? I would think the CD would not be a problem. Any input would be appreciated!
