While this does not have the radar range of the top-3 detectors, (unlike Cobras) it has been adequate. Laser detection is top notch though.

I didn't expect voice being a nice feature, but it enables you to know the radar band quickly and without looking at the detector. I would definitely recommend this feature to everyone.

False alerts are normal for it's price range (read close to no filtering). Radar detectors are not very useful (read quiet) in cities ;)

Interestingly enough, the microwave front end of the XTR-560, XTR-425, XTR-325, Pro-73, and Pro-58 are the same, and their algorithms similar. Thus, they have the same performance, but different features / display / warranty.

Finally, as far as I've heard, their customer support is excellent.

I bought this as a gift my better half. I decided on this model because it has all the features you could ask for. The POP detection is a definate plus. And it also has a detection for what they use in Europe right now and soon to be in the States. I figured this way I wouldn't have to buy a new one when it does. You can't go wrong with the price for what this model has to offer.

For the price of the radar detector, I'm extremely impressed. From it's features to its accuracy it has been a great product. I have been successfully warned multiple times now, well ahead of police vehicles coming towards me on the opposite side of the road with their speed radars turned on. I use the "City 1" mode which nearly eliminates false alarms that normally occur X-band while driving around in a normal city environment. When the detector alarms, I know that it can be trusted. I highly recommend this radar detector.

This detector has decent range. I have found that many doors locally use k band, only a couple so far I have seen use x band. Overall a decent detector though, especially for the price. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is buying for the first time.

Took this on a two thousand mile road trip this past week. The one big problem was that the display was difficult to read in the sunlight, even after changing the display brightness. Had to rely on the sound mostly during the daytime. It also had a few false readings on the trip but that only kept the foot off the pedal a bit more.

Other than that, if functioned fine for the price.

The voice alerts is such a great feature it allows me to know when it detects a radar with actually having to look at it and I can still pay attention to the road. I would definitely recommend.

I bought this radar for a gift for overseas. It was supposed to catch all kinds of signals. After driving for about 200 miles and passed by 3 police cars on the highway and that thing didn't make even one sound, I pulled over in front of an officer from state police and asked him to use the radar to test it. Guess what? Not a sound!!! I ended up returning the product, the company wouldn't refund shipping charges even for defective items, and they still charged me 10% restocking fee. I will never buy from that company ever, neither will buy this brand of radar again.

I have had this detector for over two years now and it is great! I haven't recieved a ticket yet or been pulled over.
