A Great Undiscovered Talent,
By
This review is from: Whistlin' Past the Graveyard (Audio CD)
Bonfield may be the best undiscovered musical talent out there, and this collection is testament to his devotion to and skill with the acoustic guitar. He's composed all but a trio of pieces on this CD, and these pieces are as musically varied as the American heritage they remind me of.I've read that some are comparing Bonfield to Leo Kottke, and it's a good comparison. If anything, Bonfield's tunes are more melodically and rhythmically creative than the great Kottke. That's how good this collection is. This album should show the world its next musical great. |
