When it comes to musical history and Billboard charts, there is no one better to go to than Joel Whitburn. This time through I got "Billboards Top Adult songs from 1961-2006. I needed this book because I make a lot of CD's up for adults and 1961 through the 1970's is there era. I've been a rocker all my life so I've never paid that much attention to this segment. While I didn't agree with everything, this book turned out to be a good basic foundation to start with. So if you're into music history and adult music, you can get the information you need in Joel Whitburn's Top Adult Songs, and Joel is nice enough to write you a little about each artist listed in this book. I got the 4th Edition and it worked really well for me. if you need to know about musical chart history and of course if you want to get a good buy, always check Amazon first.
