We ordered this as a packaged gift (cooking for beginner's theme) for a relative who is 22 years old with downs syndrome. The chef's hat was actually a bigger hit than the cookbook! He's been wears it whenever helping with family dinner (paring vegetables, stirring, mixing, table setting). It was a practical gift for this young man who is learning new independence skills -- but also lots of fun!
