Book Description

As of 09/01/2012 this is a Professionally Re-Edited and Revised edition.

Book Description:

What if all you knew about fairy tales was wrong?

I have always wondered why you never asked about my name. Was I so superficial to you? So stereotypical and mundane? Why did you treat me as if I were just the monster of the week? You know what I think? You never had the time to really hate me. You wanted to hate me, long before you even met me. You wanted to scrape my existence and avenge your childhood princess by laying all blame on me. What if they didn't call me the Evil Queen, what if I told you the real story from my point of view instead of hers, would you ever think of me as an angel? Could I ever make you care? I know that deep inside of you, you adore me,but you're just scared, afraid to admit how much you love the Snow White Queen.

This Grimm Diaries Prequels are a number of short books in the form of epistolary diary entries. The diaries are more of teasers for the upcoming series:
The Grimm Diaries, allowing you to get a glimpse of what to expect of the series.

The first book in the Series will be out in January 2013, called SNOW WHITE SORROW.

Series Description:

The Grimm Diaries are pages written in a Book of Sand, where each fairy tale character confessed the true stories once altered by the Brothers Grimm two centuries ago. To keep the truth about fairy tales hidden, the Brothers Grimm buried the characters in their dreams to never wake up again. But the curse was broken and they allowed to wake up every one hundred years.

4.0 out of 5 stars Snow White Blood Red July 8, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
Snow White Blood Red is part one in a set or prequels to the Grimm Diaries. The story is told in the Queens point of view in the form of a diary to Wilhelm Carl Grimm. From her point of view we get to see how the fairy tale of Snow White has been twisted and changed so that the queen herself is no longer truthfully represented.

We follow the story from the birth of Snow White till the end result with an surprising twist to the story which I loved. I haven't read traditional fairy tales for a long time, but when reading Snow White Blood Red it all came back to me on how it was told, so getting to look at it from another perspective was a refreshing change. I found myself enjoying Snow White Blood Red and once it was over I needed to know what happened next, so I got hold of the next books free from amazon kindle.

The book is only about 22 pages long on my ipad so it is a quick read, but it has so much packed into a small package it doesn't actually feel like its quick. Cameron has added his own little twist to the fairy tales that we all know and love and I already can't wait for The Grimm Diaries to be released.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Beautiful Monster June 3, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
i understand that this little gem is part of a set of prequels of an upcoming series called the Grimm Diaries. Because of the name of the series and the covers I won't be able to stop myself from reading it. Yes, I am that superficial. I also read Ashes to Ashes and Cinder to Cinder ( I love that title ) and I loved that the two prequels are different since each one is narrated by someone else. I am tongue tied here because anything I say will be spoil the book. There are still flaws, not everything makes sense, but will I read the series? Definitely yes.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice turn of events June 12, 2012

I liked this story. I was sucked in by the teaser: a story told by the Evil Queen! The Prologue of the book confused me a bit. The whole immortal and dreamworld and 100 years thing was quite confusing. However, the story itself was engrossing. Evil Queen: "I have always wondered why you never asked about my name...You know what I think? You never had the time to really hate me. You wanted to hate me..." That should suck you into the story. I usually hate stories that mess up the originals. But I like the story told from the Evil Queen's point of view. Funny part: Evil Queen speaking: "...and yes, the Queen of Sorrow says kick a@@ and stuff like that. Because guess what? I am immortal, and I have seen everything from Brothers Grimm to Lady Gaga. You feelin' me?" FUNNY!!! Good story, I look forward to the series.

More About the Author

Update: I know I've been late in releasing Prequels 11-14 and Snow White Sorrow, and I'm extremely sorry for the delay, but it's for the best of the series. I have learned a lot as a storyteller, and would like this to reflect on the next releases. It's not going to be long. With March and April, the two books will be released. Thank you for your kind support and patience.

Here's my biography below, where I'm supposed to say something cool about me, which I'm really terrible at.
Things you might want to know about me:
I write books that I can't find elsewhere, basically to amuse himself. Everything I do is for fun, so don't take me seriously, and never call me a writer. I hate that. I prefer the word: Storyteller. I am also full of flaws, but I'm improving everyday. If you like my books, horaaaay! I luv ya too. If ya don't, hoooray! Now we know in advance that this relationship isn't going to work.
Although my books are ordinary on the surface, they hold many secrets that I might reveal one day. What matters the most to me are characters struggling to find their identities in the world.
Things you don't need to know:
I celebrate my birthday twice a year, the day I was born and Friday the 13th. I want to live in a bubble house. I live in San Fransisco when I have no money. When I do, I travel away, and that's when I write best. I am a damn good music composer, and a damn good architecture college dropout. I like boats, beaches, bears, beards, bears, bananas, bars, barfights, beans, bikes, bones, butter, babes, bakery, blizzards, and pirates ( I thought it was spelled Birates when I was a kid. )
