This fabulous channel-set diamond ring is subtle yet glamorous. Consisting of multiple round-cut diamonds, the tops of which sit flush with the band’s edges, the 1/2 carat total weight ring is slender and comfortable around the finger. The sparkle of the white diamonds and the gleam of the polished 14k white gold make it reflect light and attract attention with each move of the hand. These diamonds have great brilliance and sparkle. Unlike the promotional quality offered by many retailers, which often have visible inclusions and opaque or yellow-brown color, these diamonds are near colorless, with a minimum color rating of I, and appear white to the eye. They have a clarity rating of at least I1, meaning there are small inclusions that are difficult to see with the unaided eye.
The cut, proportions, and symmetry of the diamonds--characteristics which determine their brilliance--are fair to good. Most of the light that enters through the table, or top facet, of the diamond will reflect back out, creating the deep brightness, or brilliance, that gives diamonds their special appeal. The table percentage for these diamonds, meaning the width of the table compared to the diamond’s total width, is 50-71%, and the depth percentage, or total height of the diamond compared to its total width, is 56.5-67%. Optimal table and depth percentages maximize a diamond’s ability to reflect and refract light, but they also require a great deal of the diamond to be cut away, leaving less carat weight. While the table and depth percentages here span a broader range than those of higher quality diamonds, they still allow the diamond to handle the light well, and they have the advantage of providing the largest size of diamond for the value.

Unexpected...,

This ring is much narrower than we expected - looking at the photo I thought it would be at least 3 mm....they are much thinner & the diamonds are teeny tiny. I ordered two, one for each side of my engagement ring. Didn't like it, sent them back.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I received this ring. The diamonds are clear and sparkly and the band is 3mm wide. Not the most showy of diamond rings but it looks delicate and elegant, which I prefer. It goes great with my plain white-gold wedding band. And you can't beat the price - I found comparable bands and even lower quality rings going for a higher price at other online sites and in my local jewelry stores.

I just received this ring and it is adorable. It is dainty and was just what I was looking for. A nice accent to a solitare ring. The stones looked great even with a loop. A great price for .50 ct.!
