I absolutely love this lantern. I use it for lighting for film making, and it works perfectly. The size is nice and large to get the effect I need. I purchased this one and a 16" one as well, and I love them both. The wire that goes inside is kind of a tight fit, but it still works wonderfully for what I need it for. :)

These were very inexpensive and the quality of these reflect it. If I had seen these in person, I would not have bought them. Having said this, once I put them up, it really did not make that much of a difference. They looked fine hanging. The construction is wire with very thin tissue paper over it. It did not break during hanging or shipping. It arrived really fast from the seller.

It's paper and a thin piece of metal, not much else to say. The product came exactly as described and in good condition. It was easy to assemble although the instructions were very poorly printed. Enjoy!

I've used these a lot in my various houses but did think this one was particularly thin - it ripped while I was trying to construct it, so be very careful. Even if you're used to these lampshades, this one seems very flimsy. HOWEVER, once it was put up, it looked lovely and nobody could see the tear.

I was excited to receive this item. The package was super light and not really protected. When I went to gently set up the light, it was ripped and the wire piece broke off. I don't even think I can use this item now. Really disappointing.

Product came damage and had dents in it. The paper itself looked cheap and old. You can see where it was glued together.

flimsy packaging received damaged
It's made of fragile paper....so why would they ship it in a plastic bag. No doubt when I received it, it was ripped in a few places and not symmetrical. Read more
