Comfortable and sturdy, March 14, 2009
I bought this costume for a half marathon at Disneyworld and it worked great! The fabric is soft and comfortable, a lightweight crushed velvet, and it's sturdily sewn. The skirt is very short so I also purchased yellow shorts to wear underneath during the race. The design is slightly different than the standard Disney Show White, probably for copyright reasons -- the white collar is ruffled instead of a smooth stand-up collar; the sleeves aren't red and medium blue, and the red bow at the front is just a suggestion of the red cape. However, it's clearly recognizable as Snow White and it stood up well to the rigors of race day! It has a full-length zipper on the back which isn't really needed since the neck opening is quite large. A very good value!
