I ordered these because I have used ear candles in the past. What I got in the mail instead was a package of twelve INCENSE candles shaped the same as ear candles, but with a faster burning cloth and closed tips. Even after working the tips open with a toothpick, the candles I got wouldn't work as an ear candle. It burned far too fast. It even had INCENSE STICKS and the instructions on how to burn the incense properly. They were in NO WAY whatsoever made for cleaning your ears. I don't believe this is Amazon's fault, but the fault of the supplier. The only reason that there are two stars is because I felt guilty giving one star without having called them to send them back. But since I had opened them (and used one) before realizing the fault in shipping, I didn't think that they would take them back anyhow. I have had good luck with returning items to Amazon in the past, but in this case I didn't think that the $18 bucks was worth the work, so I gave them to a friend and then I went to another store and got candles that were actually for ears, and those ones worked great. I think I'll be going that road again. More expensive, yes (twice as much, actually), but at least I get what I ordered.

.....they are incense. I have experience with ear candles, and have used many brands. I ordered these through Amazon directly. What came were things that look like a slightly skinnier version of an ear candle, and they come with sticks of incense, and insructions on how to burn the incense inside the "beeswax candle". There is no mention of ear candling whatsoever (no instructions, as the description states).

They are made by White Egret, but Amazon screwed something up here - because these are NOT made for your ears. See the review left by "M. Lewis" (on October 13th),....because my experience is identical.

I give this one star, because these are intended for a completely different purpose than the advertised use.

NOTE: It appears that Amazon just pulled these from sale. My guess is that they discovered their error.

These candles work well for the purpose. my wife wanted to candle her ears one night and kept saying that she couldn't hear real well. She did ear candling before on me and I don't notice the difference, nor did anything come up in the candle part....... My wife had me candle her ears, and she says it makes a difference. The proof to me is when she cuts open the ear candle end after the process is done and it has a ton of ear crap in it, and she tries to show me. (YUCK!)

So that to me is proof that these aren't a spoof deal, it really works, I would atleast try it out!

Excellent product, works really well ! I have had problems with Excessive ear wax for years and Ear Candling works a treat for me, better than any ENT specialist ! and I have been to a few. My ears are clear and free from pain and most importantly I can hear ! I used 6 candles for my right ear and 5 for my left ear. Those who say it doesnt work, either are not doing it right, or dont have the patience to see it through until the end.

I am so happy to have found this treatment ! which is cheaper than going to my Doctors.

I found this item while searching for ear candles, it was one of the first items to pop up in my search. the product description even states that ear candling instructions would be included, instead I received a package of incense candles, with no instructions whatsoever. I can understand if this is a liability issue if so then they need to be more honest. very disappointed about the only plus side I have had with this experience is amazon is covering the shipping so atleast I get a full refund. dishonest family buisness owned by crooks for 30 years

These are not for ear candling. They do not come with instructions for ear candling, as listed in the description. If I could give this item no stars, I would.

There were no ear candle instructions as the manufacturer claims. When I got this I was worried maybe I bought incenses instead. The package does not indicate at all this can be used for ear wax - maybe it's a liability issue?

I've used similar products before, and since this looked familiar enough I used it anyway. Everything worked fine.

These so called "incense " are sold on Amazon as ear candles! It even says "ear canceling instructions included" (which btw is not true...). Please safe your money, because they do NOT work! The yellow, brown residue is NOT your ear wax, but residue from the candle We even burned one by itself, and we used 2 in our ears... Result was the same: brown, yellow residue. Even the one which we just burned by itself I can not belief that Amazon endorses these as ear candles... ! . I sent mine back for a full refund!

The product we received IS NOT the product pictured and described at this site. These are standard incense candles. I should have read all the negative reviews before hitting "Buy it now." Please do that if you want to avoid time-consuming hassle of returning useless stuff.

I ordered these candles and got a pack of incense. When I complained about it, Amazon sent my complaint to someone else. Ill never order again.
